- have an interest in spending time with a child 3-4 times per                  month
- complete the Companions for Children screening process, which      includes background checks, an interview,  and the completion of    the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory and the OMNI      personality inventory, both of which are interpreted by a                      licensed psychologist
-participate in a pre-match training session

If you are interested in becoming an Adult Companion, please complete an application form and contact our office to schedule an orientation.

The value of the one-to-one mentor for the youth lies in the personal relationship between the Adult Companion and the Youth Companion. Therefore, it is very important that you choose someone with whom you can feel comfortable and maintain a relationship.
